please make sure to rewatch the prequel movies (at least episode 3) before the final 4 episodes of season 7. i think you can only benefit from it and will make the experience of the final so much better than it already is! also there are a lot of smaller characters in the clone wars show who actually apeard in the movies before but you didn’t recognized them back then.

I find it enjoyable as well. It is not brilliant, but it is not 'meh'. As you said, it establishes lore and development of Ashoka's character. I love anything that expands on a character's growth and contributes to the depth of a stories universe, despite future episodes having a more consequential impact. Just give me good story haha
