To each their own, but objectively this is an episode geared to a much younger audience. I suppose crap episode would be the wrong description because it has its audience. The things you mentioned are all great, but great for their target audience. Granted, there would be people outside that target audience that will enjoy it and I am not ever going to criticize their interest in entertainment like this, but overall this was an episode designed for the younglings and I am critiquing the episode based on that. This is the very reason why I love the last two seasons most, because they become much more mature, and when we get to Tales of the Jedi/Empire, you still see that maturity coming through. Again, I'm not negatively criticizing anyone's interest in an episode of this no matter their age, but this was very much so a less mature episode in the sense of its target audience.

The unique upgrades for the mechs, the wicked looking comet storm, unique planet and wildlife that introduces challenges usually never seen in star wars such as getting lost in a desert void & facing starvation/hunger, first ever onscreen elite trooper/armor, gregor's mysterious past & heroic ending and finally the most amazing looking explosion ever seen in any star wars content, the colours, the immense shockwave that sent clones across the room and over railings, debris and flame blasting the side of the station. I wouldnt call this arc "crap" more like "good", yes the majority of it is fairly slow and the droid jokes dont go very far etc etc but the rest is literally perfect, some of the best clone wars that exists, just in tiny snippets throughout the arc😅

The explosion is imo the most amazing looking shot in all of the clone wars including modern, the power, the colour, the camera shake, the debris and fire spraying the side of the station, clones thrown across the room, AMAAAAZING!!👌💯👀

So you’ve had questions about season 6 and 7, so I shall answer in a quick run down: season 6 is great but slower paced and is focusing on tying loose ends as at the time it was meant to be the actual final season of the show, and you can clearly see that. Then 6 years later Disney picks it up again and releases season 7 and ties up the new loose ends that people still have in question and also sets off the stuff for all the other events in other series. Both are great tho, but just have it in mind that season 6 and 7 were made half a decade apart from each other
