Haha at the beginning of the movie: what are cranks!? (Obviously the zombies) near the end of the movie: oh NOW we finally figure it out (after Brenda is infected and we see like 50 other infected/zombies) 😆, I feel like you were expecting an easy action movie lolol, the third one is my fave tho! And it will answer all those questions you are so frustrated about haha 🤣

I understand your confusion. You're watching this for the first time; the first film was almost a month before you watched the second one. It's hard to remember everything that way. What you could do is instead of making a poll for single movies. Do a poll for single films or franchises. And if we choose a franchise in the poll first finish the franchise. That way there is less time between the movies and it's easier to remember the information from the previous movie.

Personally disagree, think the books were extremely mediocre and messy, and the films are the better, more streamlined version of the story. Though the books did have specific moments in them that I liked that were absent or changed in the films.

You can say what you want about this film but gd the visuals a fkin amazing 1:44:00 An interesting detail in the film is that Brenda’s brother’s name is George. Well when Thomas is brought into the glade in the first film they show him a wall of names. One name in particular they lingered on longer than others….. A crossed out George. Now I’ve never read the books so I don’t know if this is just a little nod to the character added in the film or if it is actually cannon in the books so take it as you will

I had to rewatch this one in particular once after the first time I saw it to fully understand and catch things that answered questions I had... most of the answers are there though! I understood the first movie after watching it once... more questions you have get answered in the last film.

I've not read the books but I didn't feel lost or confused about what's going on. It's much like Maze Runner, where you find out the information the same time as the characters.

As a second point, to your question about being struck by lightning, I have been close. Lightning struck 10 feet from me and knocked me backwards into a car. I was deaf for nearly a week due to the crack and the heat was on a level I couldn't even describe. And I was 10ft away. I couldn't imagine being actually hit by it. Jesus.

An interesting fact - 12’s brother is named George. When Thomas was in the Glade and they had him carve his name in the wall, Alby explained that the crossed out ones were those who died. Thomas carved his name next to a crossed out “George”.

I really recommend watching the last one, it’s genuinely the best out of the three! It’s reassuring that at least they ended it with a bang

Yeah, I have no idea why you are so confused during this movie. It gives all the answers you need in this movie or in the previous one. I feel like the major problem is that you don't remember a lot from the first movie and/or you just weren't paying enough attention. Also, although this series isn't a perfect adaptation from the books, its still pretty good one. At least compared to all the recent adaptations we have been getting for content in recent years that have been trash.

I read the books and then saw the movies. The first one is basically a straight adaptation and then the second and third are no where near it. Still good movies but I feel like if they had stuck closer to the books it could've been better.
