07 So the last domino falls. BTW if you want more back story on Dooku, there is a short animated series like Clone Wars called Tales of the Jedi that give backstory to Dooku and Ahsoka but I would recommend watching it after Clone Wars.

Honestly, my rank for the seasons is legit reverse order. MAYBE I’d say 5 is better than 6, but it’s a toss up Also, Alex, without spoiler, tales of the Jedi *some* of what you were asking about for a Dooku back story The whole show is very short. I think it’s like 6, 10 minute episodes or something. It’s basically just short episodes about “tales” of the Jedi lol. Whole show is maybe an hour so it would be easy to react to after clone wars. And it doesn’t spoil any other property so it doesn’t matter the order you watch it in

You can watch tales of the Jedi to see the background on dooku, but for the background of palpatine, you need to read some big books for that

You have to remember that Anakin was put in a hard place being subject to hostage by Fives (since Fives was drugged to be aggressive). He trusted Fives and came only with Rex as requested to talk, the Chancellor was one step ahead with having the military tracking him, so he sent Fox who was probably tasked to kill him if given the chance, who went ahead and killed him before they could fully have a conversation. Tragic.

The reason Fives started tweaking was Palpy told him about Order 66, and he went ape shit trying to kill him before he could give the order. He was drugged with a type of anesthetic that was only weak enough to make him feel weak if he didn’t try moving
