Dagobah is the planet yoda exiles himself in original trilogy, it’s also the planet in the beginning of this arc qui gon told him to go to. Given that yoda dies in return of the Jedi it’s kinda sad I think he was pretty much just waiting to die knowing he failed his order in the clone wars, all he lives for from this point onward pretty much is the one path to peace by teaching luke Skywalker. And even then idk if it was his old age but even he didn’t have faith in Luke either if you remember. He dies with the belief Luke will fail and become like his father, hence his last words being what the priestess told him here, “there is another” it’s so damn tragic but there is relief at the end at least. (Sequels don’t count 😁)

This is only barely relevant, but just a fun fact of mine from the novels and comics: darth bane, along with many other ancient sith, hated sidious and Vader. Not necessarily because they succeeded where non had previously, but because they didn’t act like “true” sith. And tbh they were sorta correct; sidious and Vader were dictating and ruling with an iron fist, while the true nature of the sith is to conquer all, kill all, and destroy all. Similar in a way to what we think of as the mongol horde in our own world

Just gonna give you a heads up. Season 7 was made 6 years after season 6, and TECHNICALLY is the only season that is labeled as a Disney+ exclusive. So your absolutely going to see somewhat of a change is pacing of the show but most importantly way better animation quality and emotional depth to everything. Also, watch episode 3 again before you watch the final 4 episodes, just do it

The reason why I like this arc so much isn’t just that it gives context and lore to the movies, but it also ties in a lot of the older comics and novels and how they play in to what would become the prequels and original trilogies

I know that’s no very common but you have to watch the first clone wars S7 teaser trailer. We fans waited years after this episode thinking it was over. And in the trailer there is one scene that got all of us jumping and screaming that won’t have the same impact when watching the episodes. Hope you see this comment in time 👏

So some stuff you missed while talking + stuff that’s important. As I’ve said in comments before, there were many of the “Jedi-sith wars” that took place several times over centuries and millenias beforehand, involving tens of thousands of Jedi against tens of thousands of sith. However the sith always falling to their own greed and power struggles between each other. At the end of the final Jedi-with war, about around 1000BBY, about a hundred years before yodas birth (I don’t know the exact years I forgot) the sith were entirely wiped out, except for one: Darth Bane. He created the rule that there must only be 2 sith, and kept his order in secret and in hiding in the outer rim and unknown regions for a thousand years, creating the lineage that allowed darth sidious to become a sith and rule in secret, then finally struck out with the clone wars and order 66 and successfully conquered the galaxy for the first time in history

U were pretty spot on about ur analysis, however don't forget Anakin is the choose one. He was the one who brought balance to the force by killing Palpatine in ep6. Luke was just the catalyst for defeating Darth Vader thus allowing Anakin to be reborn. Through out the saga, it is shown that Anakins love for others is what eventually leads him to the dark side, but it is also his love for his son that allowed him to kill Palpatine, thus the force is balanced.
