the flash show is great.. the guy that plays flash in the movies not as much. but the show is great up till about S6, i think the writers just didn't know where to go with it by then. Same with Arrow which the flash is a spin off from Arrow was amazing for about 4-5 seasons then started dropping off. But I loved Deathstroke and Deadshot in Arrow, they were also great. Alex if you like Margot you gotta check out Wolf of Wall Street.

They also had a fuck ton more shit with the joker filmed, he was supposed to have a much larger roll or at least that’s what they told Jared Leto when he signed the contract. Then when he saw the movie and saw what they actually did with his scenes he was pissed.

Honestly I loved this joker idc what anyone has to say. To me it was perfect for this universe. This universe was very comic booky and modern. And that’s what this joker was he was a modern comic booky type character. Over the top, but also had that gangster feel to him. The tattoos and the outfits all worked for it. You can’t compare him to the other jokers because every joker comes from a different vibe of movie. The dark knight was a very serious realistic take on what Batman and his villains were. And that’s what Heath delivered, just a guy who wasn’t right in the head and wanted to watch the world burn in chaos. The joker movie was a dark, depressing movie about a guy who worked as an entertainment clown and just kept experiencing trauma after trauma and it fucked him to the point he lost his shit, and that’s what he did for that role.

I'm not a big fan of this movie but as to why it is generally hated that's because the Theatrical Cut was so much worse. So much got cut that the plot felt completely nonsensical and hard to follow. Some questionable casting choices, the general disinterest in the Snyderverse at the time, and Jared Leto being a real asshole also didn't help the movie.

I never had a problem with this version. It had fun moments and some bad so overall it’s just meh. I like Leto’s Joker. The biggest problem is his scenes are so cut up you don’t get to know this version of Joker and what his motivations are. My problems with the movie is 1) the director wanted it PG13 which I think limited the possibilities for the movie and 2) as someone said the studio overruled the director and just made things messy. Oh and also they nerfed a lot of the characters abilities like Deadshot isn’t bad here but he’s so much cooler also.

The Joker in this movie was actually really good. In my opinion, the joker isn’t one particular way. The jokers background by nature is multiple choice. Heath leadgers joker was the best, yes. But I did really like this. I felt that Heath‘s joker actually did have a plan, quite a few plans. Whereas this joker embodies full chaos and actually seems like a crime boss like we see in the comics and TV show shows. The joker supposed to be the crime boss of the entire city, in Nolans Batman we see him as a crazy guy with a plan to corrupt the city and prove a point. But he is actually really sane in Nolan’s movies and that’s not who the joker is supposed to be. I love both of them, but I really think all the hate around this joker was really that it came off of Heaths performance, which was already great, and then he died. So no joker could match that, so people’s expectations were too high.

This movie was recut and edited before it came out by the people who made the movie trailer to be more like Deadpool after its major success. Warners bros made them cut up and dissect the director’s original vision to make a pop-punk witty movie . Thats why there are about 10 famous music ques in the first half hour of this movie and also why it looks like a music video. The Director still wishes for his original cut to be released to this day.

I hope you end up checking out the tv show "Gotham". Cameron Monaghan plays the Joker in a later season and does an amazing job at it (very similar to Heath Ledger). Also my friends cousin was an extra in this movie (when deadshot kills the guy in the convoy, one of the guards in the front suv)
