Once again, I think you were a little too harsh in your criticism with Aang, Alex. He may be acting a bit irrational or emotional here, but it’s understandable why. He’s constantly been told that as the Avatar, his duty is to save the entire world (quite a lot of pressure to put on a preteen tbh). But at the end of Book 2, our group lost Ba Sing Se to the Fire Nation. And Aang failed to conquer the Avatar State. All of Team Avatar failed at the end of last season, but of course Aang is going to carry the weight of that burden the most because he is the Avatar. He feels like he failed the world and all of the people who were counting on him. And as others have already stated, you did talk over the scene, but one of the parallels in the episode is that both Aang and Zuko feel like they need to regain their honor. Imo it’s very easy to understand why Aang acts the way he does in this episode.

Lusting over these characters is a grey area tbh. I was hella attracted to tai lee and azula as a preteen. So in my mind they are all like 27 now, not 17. Which isn’t entirely true. I feel like you shouldn’t be called out too hard for remembering how you felt as a kid about these characters, or pointing out that they look like fully developed women😂. Also doesn’t help that all the characters are voiced by adults.

Depends on how you look at it in this series Katara is a teenager but if you look at the comics or Korra she isn't. It also depends on how you mean it. I don't think Alex would date a 14-year-old. When I was 12 I had a crush on Katara. Would that mean that I would data a 14-year-old now? Of course not but if I watch Avatar, I can think the 14-year-old version of myself would love to date her.

i think the main reason aang has a hard time not helping and understanding the plan is cause of what happened the last time he was gone and presumed dead and couldn't help anyone, every airbender was killed and he lost everything. So now he feels like he owes it to the world to always be there and never leave again to felt people get hurt.

Btw, u must watch Rebels before bad batch after u finish avatar. Bad batch has some rebels spoilers in it. Plus, Rebels imo is slightly better than bad batch, but has batch has a better finale episode.
