As always, I do enjoy watching movies with Alex :D especially when it’s about mi gente <3 This is one of my favorite movies of all time. I’m so glad you enjoyed it, man! And you made me watch it in English, so it was a new experience. FYI: they did a version in Spanish with all of the same actors, and it’s phenomenal. There are jokes and comments in this one that aren’t in the other version and vice-versa. The attention to detail in this has been exceptional.

Something I learned about the death in mexican believe: You die 3 times. First when you basically die, second when your body is buried (or not any longer there, I'm not quite sure what it was) And the third and final death is - like in the film - when there is no one left in the living world who can tell your stories.

I love this film so much. My grandma has it too but right now it's at the beginning but now when I watch the film it's hitting so damn deep in my heart. Mama Coco, Bingbong and the theme from Up will make me always cry. But it's good and helpful even more when you have to deal with depression like me. That's why I love Pixar/Disney films so much.
