I've also added The Hangover as a 5th option because it got so many votes. I've seen this LONG ago when it came out in theaters. I think it'd probably make for a really good reaction as well since it's been so damn long, but if you guys want a BRAND NEW movie, I totally get that.

Sad thing is I'm betting Alex has actually seen Scary movie before. He has mentioned scenes in Scary movie 2 several times and I think it's unlikely he has seen Scary movie 2 but not Scary movie 1. It's kind of sad that 90% of what is seen these days is just mind numbingly stupid comedies. Hot fuzz is an actually well written comedy with great cinematography.

Couldn’t agree more. It just doesn’t make sense to throw a spoof movie in when he hasn’t seen the movies that it’s based on. Don’t get me wrong I think the movie is hilarious but there are much better options to pick it baffles me how this is winning the poll

Everyones tastes are different. I do agree that not having seen whats being spoofed is gonna take away a lot from watching it. I dont think a lot of people are considering that.

I mean I’d say they’re both action/adventure films with the addition of comedic moments. But the og has Robin Williams and the new one has Jack black and Kevin hart so it should automatically be a comedy regardless so I hope we can agree on that😂

Hot fuzz is for sure the better movie, but Scary movie is something of a cult classic for alot of people, myself included. Just because something is "better" doesn't mean the alternative isn't entertaining. The first 2 scary movies are entertaining, atleast to me and alot of people i imagine. now the 4th one and beyond... lets not talk about those.
