I think it's complicated. Is it still considered dead or alive again? It's different from Force Ghosts, but also not like the Night Sisters Zombies. I think that's what darth sidious was talking about. What Plagueis tried or even succeeded. Sidious perhaps thought it was not possible and that only one can save oneself from death. He probably thought he had lied to Anakin. But Vader doesn't know that. And I guess he figured it out himself. But that's just theory.

Yeah this show is 15 years after episode 3 ahsoka was 17 then making her 31-32 now. He reveal has alway been fkin crazy because by the time rebel came out cw season 7 wasn’t a thing so we never knew if she had survived. We all kind assumed because she was never mentioned in the ogs or in any comics and books her story ended in clone wars. But man your in for a treat season 2 and 3 just get better and better with season 4 being about on par with 1

Part of Ahsoka looking different is her age. Rebels starts 14 years after the Clone Wars ended, meaning she’s in her early thirties. Also, Rebels spans a five year period, ending just before the battle of Yavin.

All of these would have been some time in 19BBY. Siege of Mandalore: 19BBY (Some amount of time before Empire Day) Empire Day and Ezra Bridger born Luke and Leia born on Polis Massa (evidently 2 days after Empire Day) Then Rebels season 1: 5BBY to 4BBY (Ezra's 15th bday would be in 4BBY) But we can't get wrapped around the axle when dating Star Wars events. Even official sources can contradict each other. That's why I said about. Looking for this info got me thinking... has time been tracked "in universe"? I mean, sure, they'll talk about hours and days. But has any character ever used dates in the movies or shows? Alex, if you happen to get this deep in the comments and no one has mentioned it before, blowing up the first Death Star is the calendar change event. BBY is Before the Battle of Yavin. ABY is After.

I really like how Alex appreciates the Inquisitor as a Villain. He was such an underrated character honestly. Oh and, sidefact, that red planet Mustafar which all those Ships orbit, is in fact the planet where Anakin and Obi wan had fought in Revenge of the sith. And with the Inqusitor saying that there are some things more frightening than death, he was referring to the urge to speak back to Vader after failing him once again to the rebels. Meaning he would rather kill himself than to be left within Vaders grasp... There is so much more in store for you Alex, this show will keep getting better and better, I hope you are excited for that :- )

different sabers have different tips. anakin’s was pointed at the end and so was ahsoka’s, while obi-wan’s was rounded.

Dont forget that this show was wayy Y more kid oriented then other shows, so a lot of rules like “i didn’t see the body” dont apply as they wont show the body normally. If you notice like 80% of the stormtroopers who are shot don’t actually die. Its just the way the shows made

When the inquisitor said “you have no idea what you’ve unleashed here today, some things are far more frightening than death” he was essentially talking about Vader and he basically killed himself cause he was afraid of what Vader would do to him cause he failed. Which is pretty dark if you ask me

The reason for the sharp lightsabers is because this shows art style is based on Ralph Macquaries who made the original concept art for a new hope, some of the things of note are the sharp lightsabers, weirdly proportioned star destroyers, zeb was based on concept art for chewbaca, lothals based on concept art for alderan, chopper is even based loosely on some concept art tho not exactly

6:15 the reason lightsabers are pointy is cause the shows art style are based on the original drawings from Ralph McQuarrie. He helped to story board the Original Trilogy, and ended up drawing comics for Star Wars for a while

Fun fact: the reason Sabine is referred to as “the artist” at the beginning is because they made a handful of shorts before the show released on Disney XD. It was a type of introduction to the characters to get people ready to watch rebels when it dropped. I recommend watching them soon. They’re not important, but they’re a fun watch
