Wrapping up the week with the most underestimated movie I have seen in a LONG TIME! To be 1000% honest, I went into this film thinking I wasn't going to like it at all. Idk! There is just a stigma about Legos in my mind. I felt like it was going to be a cash grab! But shit man was I wrong!
This was such an intricate and well-thought out movie! I can't believe they put so much love, care, and effort into each and every detail... and the TWIST at the end!?! FUCKKKKK!
I mean it's not really a twist, but more of a full contextual reveal. Either way, it was AWESOME! Thank you all for showing me these "kids" movies, because honestly, they are so much more than that!

If there's one thing I would chose to sell someone on the Lego movie, it's this story. Me and my dad were watching a trailer for a completely separate, completely random movie on YouTube one day that we were thinking of watching. But, before we could watch that movie, a trailer for the second Lego movie came on, and I remember,we were all mad because the "skip ad" timer was really long for some reason. But then we realized something... The ad itself was like 2+ hours long. I completely forget what trailer we were about to watch because, instead, we watched this ad -- the ENTIRE LEGO MOVIE, IN AN AD, FOR FREE. I remember wanting to share this movie with my dad like a year before that, and him having the same concern about it being a cash grab and not wanting to watch it for that reason. Needless to say, that ad convinced him otherwise, and it will be one of, if not my favorite movie watching experience I got to have with him.
