FYI maul only lost to kanan because he underestimated him. Because he was blind. And kanan actually became more powerful when he was blinded. Because he relied solely on the force in the moment. If Maul didn’t underestimate kanan, if he didn’t assume it was going to be an easy fight and let his arrogance blind him, He would have won. This can be said about most of mauls losses.

I don't know how many people will agree with this, but it personally feels wrong to refer to Vader as "Anakin." They really feel like two different characters to me. Obviously, I know they are the same person, but it feels like they are two very different personas of the same person. Anakin was someone with a lot of passion and love for the people around him, and he always had to struggle to keep his darkness in check. But Vader is what you get when you empty all the passion and love from Anakin and leave the cold, calculating, powerful shell of his former persona. To me, Anakin really did die on that day in Mustfar only to come back in his last moments with his son at the end of Episode 6

Yeah I remember when this episode came out. Gd that last 60 sec montage has so much shit to unpack. Maul escaping Vader crawling out of the temple Ahsoka hurt going further into the temple The daughter’s owl Maul’s teachings affecting Ezra Ezra opening a sith holocron Kanan pulling a General Rahm Kota becoming a badass blind Jedi. Oh and man it just gets even more badass from here.

It’s better than the bad batch. Also it has better structure and flow than the clone wars but CW also has higher peaks.

I also only watched Rebels season 1 and 2 now and I refuse to believe that Rebels can be better than The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch, but this is getting pretty close

Alex, love the reactions. I have been waiting for this since you started Rebels. From my wife as we watched this: It looks like he needs some chocolate, a cigarette, a clean set of boxers and a nap. Next season it gets better.
