Bro you need to watch Andor, it is about how the rebellion was created and all their complications within them, also about how the majority of the rebellion thinks about Saw and others like him. After that you have to rewatch Rouge One, the Commander Crenick on the table with Tarkin is the one from Rogue One and project StardDust is the death star.

“Star Dust” is the code name for the Death Star. The plans were originally created by the Geonosians, which were brought to Papa Palpy at the very beginning of the Clone War. Then they were given to Orson Krennic, the guy in this episode and Ben Mendelson in Rogue One and Andor. That’s why the Geonosians were wiped out in Rebels. So no one would find out about the weapon

Alex I'm begging you for the love of all F's write down project necromancer..I won't spoil it too much but it does become massively important way way!!! Down the line and does get brought up. Also back during TCW series one of the medical Clones mentioned how the "separatists" where working on a toxin to kill Clones and Professor Hamlock (misspelled his name could careless) used said toxin on Crosshair. There is a book that has Saw in it all though he's "good" person he's honestly a POS cause he's done stuff that is questionable. Oh and this planet was in Rogue One.
