Break Update: Doing a bit better πͺ΄
🕑 Added 2024-12-11 21:37:57 +0000 UTCWriting this update rather late in the evening today, just got back from my apartment I'm in the midst of a complete renovation of and it's starting to look better day by day! I have my new wonderful flooring put in and is already getting covered up, been spending this week painting the ceilings after working full-time and it's rather therapeutic.
I want to sincerely thank every one of you so very much for your supportive comments and love I got on my latest update post, just being able to open up about my inner world has been helping me on my healing journey. I read every single one of your comments and I can't say thank you enough times. And I hope it's okay that I currently don't have the energy to leave replies or answer as quickly on DM's.
Had the realization that I need to stop thinking so much, or overthinking. Dealing with this toxic shame and guilt after this last couple of years has not gotten me into a healthy mindset. I feel very hopeful for the new year, might be a bit silly but I feel like it's a fresh restart every time the new year comes around.
Next week is my last week at work before going on Christmas break, I have two weeks where I plan on going all in on the renovations before I go back to work! πͺπ» My new IKEA kitchen is supposed to arrive next week and I can't wait to instal it, starting to get really excited that at least something will look complete in this apartment.
Other than that, I will be back to make ASMR content for Christmas πTrying to get a hold of another Warhammer 40K Codex for Christmas.. since I made one with the Kill Team core book for last season. After that I will be making a longer yearly recap, opening up a bit on YouTube about this year and plans for the next one - and hopefully - be back on track with making weekly content on YouTube and Patreon as usual π₯°

Great, it's nice to hear from you, and to feel that there is an air of positivity in your words. Working on a personal project like renovating your apartment is certainly a very good thing, to occupy your mind, think less and take a step back. Taking a step back is never easy and obvious. But it allows you to put things into perspective, to worry less and to focus on what is important. I know from experience that when we are not well, when we are anxious, we tend to dramatize everything, to see everything in black, and to amplify our fear, our despair, in short we feel worse and worse. Working on a project, or doing sport, or practicing a hobby, in short doing an activity that occupies the mind, allows you to feel better about what worries us, scares us, or even about the trauma that we have experienced. So yes, I think from my experience that you are on the right track, you are learning to know yourself better and better. But be careful, even if tomorrow or another day, you feel less well, especially do not worry, because you can be sure that there will also be better days to come, after this possible drop in morale. Relapse is something common, but tell yourself that it will not last. You are a good person, you must be convinced of it, because we all see it through your videos. The men who made you suffer are bad people, try to forget them, and I am sure that one day, you will find someone good, who will understand you and with whom you will be happy, because you deserve to be happy. In the meantime, it makes me very happy to hear from you, work hard on the renovation of your apartment, and have a very good Christmas vacation !!!
