The sound of heavy breathing echoed through the snow-covered forest. In the midst of the silent, frozen world, Mariko and Hana stood locked in a fierce grapple on the dohyo, their entire beings poured into the contest. Their strength was perfectly matched, and their relentless struggle had momentarily stalled at the edge of the dohyo, tension thick in the frigid air.
「ハァ、ハァ、ハァ……」
白銀の森に響き渡る荒い息遣い。静寂に包まれた雪の世界の中、土俵の上でMarikoとHanaはがっぷり四つに組み合い、全身全霊で押し合っていた。二人の力はまったく互角。土俵際で攻防が一瞬止まり、緊張が静かに張り詰める。
"You're strong...!!"
"You too...!!"
「やるな……！」
「そっちこそ……！」
As they clashed with all their might, both women reveled in the battle, savoring every second. They could feel the decisive moment approaching, the thrill of victory just within reach. Tightening their grip on each other’s mawashi, they pressed their bodies even closer, making sure not a single ounce of pressure escaped.
互いの力をぶつけ合いながら、二人はこの戦いを心から楽しんでいた。勝敗がつくその瞬間が近づいているのを肌で感じ、さらに回しをがっしりと掴む。二人は体を深く噛ませ合い、相手に与える圧力が一瞬たりとも逃げないように集中する。
"Let’s go one more round!"
"Bring it on!"
「もう一回いくぞ！」
「望むところだ！」
With a battle cry, they threw themselves into each other with renewed vigor. Muscles strained, and the fabric of their mawashi dug into their skin as their bodies groaned under the pressure. Yet they paid no mind to the pain. At this very moment, nothing mattered but overpowering the other. Their entire beings were poured into this final push, striving to conquer with sheer, unyielding strength.
二人は声を張り上げると、同時に全身の力を振り絞りながら押し込んだ。回しが食い込み、体が軋む音が響くが、それさえも意に介さない。今、この瞬間にすべてを賭け、相手を力でねじ伏せようと、二人は最後の一押しに全力を注ぐ。

Thank you! I'm glad that the intense battle between the two came across well. It’s so much fun to depict their fierce competition, where neither of them gives an inch, and it becomes a true test of strength with their pride on the line.

Sorry, came back because I love this set. That final image is a perfect blend of worry, strain, and effort. Like I can look at their faces and see all three expressions/emotions at the same time. You've gotten so good at capturing character's emotions over the years. I said it before, but your characterization is so strong. I know you're frequently hard on yourself as I'm sure most artists are, but I hope that you are able to find the time one day to really, truly invest in some type of webtoon or story that carries on for some length of time. Actually, the speech bubbles are kind of something I'm not used to seeing with you and they add so much to the images. This is high quality stuff!

Wow! That image where they're smiling at each other and acknowledging each other is peak shonen rivals vibes. I love their smirks because it frames them as competitive women who love a good challenge. I don't know if it is meant to be this way, but this exchange kind of feels like their first meeting because they're shocked by each other's strength. The first winter match kind of seemed like they already had a rapport with each other. These two are awesome and I love that they're both bulls who's only strategy is to overpower each other with pure strength. No trickery, tactics, or trying to get superior leverage... just two girls locking horns, matching their muscles, and giving each other everything they've got only to find themselves as equals.

Most pairs will go to dinner, beach, or a movie for a date. But if Mariko and Hana go on a date, they'll probably have an entire evening of head-to-head clashes in the dohyo!
