Hi, great tutorial. I was on the fence about upgrading from live 11 to 12 but your demo of the new LFO alone had me sold. you could modulate the LFO in 11 in a similar way to this using CV tools but it is a bit of a faff to set up compared to this. Thanks!

The way the LFO works in Live 12 is probably inspired by modular synths, just like the Meld synth was inspired by them. On modular synths when you modulate a knob's value with an LFO by sending control voltage, the physical knob then becomes an offset for that voltage. Basically just how it now finally works in Ableton.

I would also love to see a track being made with the sounds that you created at some point! It takes serious work to arrange an experimental track and it would be insightful to see your workflow :)

Thank you so much for this stream! I would be super interested in experimental mixing and master techniques. For example, how to get kick and snare drums to completely just clip and sound so intense like in this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVX3Z7L8w4U

Hello, thanks for the video :) personnally id love to dive in how to synthesize (fm in particulary) drums in a more 'experimental' way than your typical 808 drumkick or snare. things like this for exemple https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRb-bLRx-Sg&pp=ygUYbW9kdWxhciBvcGVyYXRvciBhYmxldG9u - there is not a lot of content about this kind of thing, at least from my perspective. cheers

Is it possible to get your Ableton theme? I like it a lot :)

Love this idea, thank you!

Just finished watching! Everything you make is incredibly insightful, so thank you. Something that I would personally love to see is productions breakdowns and/or writing follow-alongs! When I push the sound so far into breaking point, organising it as part of complex arrangements can be a challenge!

Yay! I agree, I would love to see some of the favorite ways you use LFO

I’d personally love to download and inspect some of your favorite effects racks you’ve put together (LFOs included) to deconstruct and modify for my own experimental use ✨ Loved this stream! Great way to start my morning :)
