Big changes- no more raffles
🕑 Added 2018-10-09 11:51:23 +0000 UTC Hey guys, as of November there will be no more raffle draws.I always said the second I was told to stop, I'd stop doing them, and I have been.
I greatly appreciate the support from those who've pledged so far, I cannot thank you enough <3
I'll be randomly selecting 2 people to get images this month via the patreon manager tab in case posting another raffle post gets me in trouble.
I'll post the screen cap of the winners (omitting email addresses/other potentially sensitive information on the manager tab) on the 20th of this month.
I will also be posting a mass DM on here to remind folks to adjust/drop out before the next charge.
I'm debating as to what I want to do, either open a few more of the currently available slots or do something different.
In the mean time, I'm just going to focus on getting caught up with my little backlog.
Very sorry for the inconvenience or disappointment this causes, but it's not in my control.

Sucks but it's a good opportunity for a rehash for what the patreon gives, reconsidering pricing etc. Not that I have much in terms of suggestions. x) High-res (as you had before) is a pretty common tier, but also first chanche for commissions is another common tier I seen too.

Well, as long as there isn't 'chance' involved as a reward, I think it's allowed. Hence why I suggested the milestone bit. Especially since you don't have to make the results public then. Example being; patrons vote on a poll for say... inflation; you could "choose" to do a random behind the scenes draw for a patrons character "if you so wished", or your own. The quotes being the important part, given its up to your discretion and not simply a perk. Alternatively, the old image giveaway could simply go on a rotation system rather than a raffle. But that might not be desirable for some, but it is guaranteed rather than chance.
I’m actually wondering if it’s possible for me to give away a YCH each month instead of raffling a commission... I guess that’s pretty much the same though DX

Well, there's still the high rez files and PSDs, which I'm sure many would enjoy supporting you for as is! Perhaps it could extend beyond patron only stuff at this point? Could always change the reward to a 'milestone' bonus; since thats more for simply being a patron than actually pledging for a raffle. Though obviously it'd need to be fair. (Not sure if thats allowed in itself.) Alternatively, you could do Polls, which would allow patrons to vote on a particular image/theme in place of the raffle and still give the prior rewards for the old tiers. Might give you the chance to do stuff you like more~ Just some ideas of course!
