I feel that her being happy with herself is the prerequisite for everything else. She has very deeply-rooted issues with her body image and perceived status/position in society, that she was only able to begin to address in her past life by writing. Her strongest connection to another person was also through writing. I haven't touched on it too much yet, but Tabitha is 30% trying to arrange and plan her life to give herself the opportunity to become a successful writer, and 60% trying to become the protagonist of the story she wrote, who was an amalgamation of her suppressed wishes and dreams. (I just don't want Tabby to realize this right away.)

There'll have to be some reminder of balance so she'll be able to enjoy her life and friendships while also maintaining her health and doing her best for her parents. If not, she runs the risk of burnout as in the film "Gifted" but on a smaller scale. If she allows her desire to avoid the worst parts of her adolescence to become an obsession, it might color her entire experience meaning that if she gets to her 60-year-old self again, she'll have a paucity of happy memories for a different reason. This road is more dangerous than we ever think it is, or we might not choose to walk it.

Really, *really* enjoying this story so far. I'm excited to see where you take it!
