This technique might need some practise until you get the best results, but don´t worry. It´s pretty normal that you go through a lot of trial and error and basically get rid of 90% of shapes that don´t work.

Its a full weight subsurface material and then i played a bit with the thin film thickness and IOR until it gave me this pearl-like shimmer.
