Translation progress update
🕑 Added 2017-05-20 09:44:12 +0000 UTC Here's a small update for you peeps. I've tackled the first batch of H-scenes in Pickle's game, and my main issue is this: there's too much onomatopoeia. I don't particularly mind since it's the style of the dev's writing, but I don't think that style fits the english language the same way it does for the japanese language. That said, I won't be removing them since I don't want to alter the scenes that much, instead I'll be trying my best to translate them as accurately as possible. So, erm.....look forward to it..?Comments

Well, I do translate words like yatta(into yay/hooray) because I think people might not like to see a japanese word into english text. That said, I keep certain japanese words intact, because that's their origin(in Mizuna I never translated the word kokeshi for example, not sure if I should have done that). I guess I'll try some stuff and check what looks better visually before settling on a way to work on those ;)
Just a suggestion, but I wouldn't mind if you just romanized (hopefully that's the correct word) them : fu, gu, yatta, etc. Most people playing h-games are probably used to them by now (I know I am), and I prefer to keep the japanese word instead of a sometimes awkward english transliteration (anh, ooh, yesh!, etc.). Thank you very much for your translations, as always.
