Monthly models: Possessed constructs
This time around we'll be going with some robotic androids that aren't quite functioning within regular operating tolerances. These walking computers have been possessed by mysterious entities either alien or perhaps... demonic.
This batch I'm going to do as a modular kit as I've had a couple requests for this recently. There will be options for torsos, legs, arms etc. Enough to mix in so many combinations and poses it'd be hard to make the same robot twice.
here's a very early look at the model:
It's very young, but this is the baseline. The visual indicators of possession are still in the works but I promise the end result will be much more gnarly -- keep an eye on the dorkfactory instagram as I'll likely post late-night process shots of the progress on these guys.
Bonus models!
This month I couldn't help but repose the sacrificial cultists into more active poses with GUNS. You might notice some similarities with a commonly known unit from a certain game. Maybe I needed to print a few dozen of these to round out my own army... maybe not. regardless, I'm giving these out to patrons at the Lord of the Land tier as bonus minis.
I've been thinking about the dread gateway model as well. The more I look at it, it kind of looks like a chaos soul grinder... I'm tempted to make some edits and have a cool proxy for that unit. If you'd like to see that happen please comment below and force me to do it.
Upcoming projects:
I'm currently working on some more unit alterations for Plastic Alchemy's Kordran Conflict units. Great game, do check it out if you haven't. It's super fun.
In the near future I'll be making some more 15mm units for another game from Ill Gotten Games called Streets of Plasma. This tabletop skirmish game takes place in a destroyed 1980's New York City that's been taken over by a plethora of diverse aliens from other dimensions. I miiiight be making some cool aliens that use their eggs and offspring for sacrificial purposes... we'll see. More to come on this project.
Speaking of Ill Gotten Games, I'll be getting the undead barrowfolk models from pocket tactics out to Lords of the Land soon.
To wrap this up, I want to add that the dorkfactory is still young but the amount of people that reach out to me and want to do projects together, or even just to say "hey this is cool," is really uplifting so THANK YOU to everyone for your support and being into this weird hobby endeavor.

Awesome! I feel the same way. I had 30 cultists to begin with and after all the test printing I'm adding 50 more lol. Time for a giant cultist blob army it seems. Thanks!
