Hey Aaron, The cull camera node is just a small "preset" I made. It's simply a point wrangle with the code in it. Then I dragged it onto a shelf. This makes it a "preset" node. So you can grab the hip file here, drag the node onto the shelf and then you have it too :)

Hello people, very new to Houdini. was just wondering if anyone knows where to download the Cull node (cull camera).

Guide deform is the same as a point deform, it is just made specifically for hair. So you feed it static hair, static rest mesh and animation mesh and it'll move the hairs on the mesh.

Ok great, thanks for the feedback. I'm trying to find some references on the guide deform node. Any suggestions would be helpful. I put it after the Hair Clump bringing in both the 1st input on the guide deform and the 2nd / 3rd input (I tried both). Seems like it should go to Animated Skin (3rd input) and the Mode should be Deform only by skin, but this gives an error. I'll keep playing with it. But this is my first time using guides. Are guides kinda like constraints in Vellum / RBDs? Or are they more like vectors giving a direction? I'll work with the cloth SIM and lights. Thanks again.
