oh god this... as someone who struggles a lot with overstimulation, you have portrayed perfectly my experiences. This made me realize how lucky I am to have a family that understands my special needs. I'm sorry you didn't get the same care you should've have. It's so easy to judge someone, but is that much harder to ask them? We are not animals; just different people with different needs. Not "wants"- NEEDS. Sorry for the long rant. This comic really touched me, if you couldn't tell already. Before I finish, here's quote from a comic that I think shows my point : "OK, I THINK I UNDERSTAND.
