Aside from the Kartikeya implying that, obviously Alexander joined them to get the throne. So overthrowing the Empire is definitely their major goal for whatever reason.

Kartikeya did tease Alexander about them not being friends overthrowing the evil kingdom, but I didn’t take that as the goals of the group. If it was Karikeya wouldn’t be giving their seat to start a war with the empire.

One of Masked Troupe members implied that their aim is to overthrow the Empire. Also it was strongly implied that killing Adelheid is more of a minor objective.

The Pravus kingdom may only worship demiurge but it is never said that they are demons. As far as the point, to weaken the superpowers by keeping them fighting. We don’t actually know what the masked tropes goals yet except trying to kill Adelheid, so all we can do is guess. My other guess as to who the leader is would the other person sent by the foreign god. He got there first and might know who she is. Like I said just guesses.

There's a whole huge nation of demons beyond the dwarven mountains. So I doubt that Mask Troupe is organised by demons. What's the purpose? If anything, it is more likely that the Masked Troupe are some sort of agents of the six gods. And they try to destroy the empire for the mana mutation research - a very taboo subject.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the leader is demon. It does go along with prologue of this book where they talk about demiurge.

With regards to the butler, I believe there's a fairly hidden demon society in the Empire. Both Sofia and the butler are probably members of it. Demiurge is worshipped in the Empire along with the other 5 gods after all. But her behaviour was suspicious since the epilogue of last volume. So something shady regarding Masked Troupe seems to be happening.

I think you are right, but with her very suspicious behavior surrounding the assassination attempts I believe there is more to it.

I think she may work for Adelheids father. Just like I think the butler does.

I hadn’t thought of that possibly. I’m still leaning towards the beastkin theory. Since the clue was just brought up and her first reaction to Herja points towards that one. It will be interesting to find out.

I think Sofia is a Demon or a Cambion. So her background is probably more convoluted.

Ok some theories on Sofia. 1. The mask trope are threatening her mother so she works for them. 2. She is one of the orphans recruited by Alexander. 3. She is a beastkin spy that had her ears cut off like Ursin.
