I still think that Artorius is more likely. It was mentioned that people believe that he is seeding chaos to this day for what happened.

Hmm, seems right. Alternative option is that Vidar is some other member of the royal family, one believed to be dead.

Well at the very least it the symbol of the empire is gold sword surrounded by 6 swords on red background. When Adelheid first went before the emperor both her and the emperor were wearing red and gold.

Red and Gold? Are you sure these are the colors of Vuldar Imperial family?

So I have a new theory about who Vidar is. I reread the first time he is introduced and I realized the his mask is a vengeful face and is red and gold. Red and gold are the colors of the imperial family. What if Vidar is the emperor and he is vengeful because of what happened to his beloved first prince. There is still some holes to fill in for this theory to work but the colors of the mask should mean something.

I am fairly certain that almost all members of the Troupe are not from the empire. Vanin seems to be located in the Principality, Kartikeya in Beastmen Kingdom. There are other important countries for other members to be. If anything, I think Chamuel, the one who wanted to avoid killing Adelheid, is probably Sir Griselda or someone else that likes her.

Okay I can buy that. I still think iether the butler or Eric is part of the leadership ship of the troupe. I guess they want Adelhied dead since they thet don't have any hooks in her.

Vidar wears the "mask of vengeance". So it should be a character seeking vengeance like Artorius the former High King of Veles.

She probably decided to make herself useful and help the wounded or something.

I bet Vidar is either Eric the tower lord or Albrecht s butler. Which means Sofia could actually be part of the masked troupe. The troupe seems to share one goal. Power.
