With white, the dress draws too much attention due to contrast, which doesn't happen with black and purple. At the same time, black repeats an already present colour. So purple fits best.

I quite like the juxtaposition of the white, the feeling I have of her character is that of someone who doesn't blink at doing unspeakable things. So the white dress implying purity/innocence is quite amusing especially considering the draconic staff.
