My experience was that you didn't dare lean too far forward or back, or you'd be on the floor wondering what happened.
My experience with them was that you can't stand up quickly in an emergency; you have to carefully disentangle yourself from the chair and climb out.

Had one of those chairs, non-rocker variety though. Wasn't difficult or tiering to use, but the ex would flip it around and sit on the knee rest.
