This is really bad for the Duchess, since her Regalia is a repository for her Magickal power (sort of like Sauron's ring). Damage to it would harm her as well; that's why she is so protective of it.

Belated doodle request, mainly because I really don't have any good ideas: I would like to see Constance and Conrad staring at each other through one of those fun-house mirrors, as if the former were looking at what she used to be or the latter is fascinated at what's (unknowingly) in store for him.

Duchess Catherine would be completely destroyed! Either by her enemies now that she's powerless - or more likely by time itself, since the magick which has been keeping her young will have completely dissipated.
