For this months doodle, given it being the month of romance and such, I figure I'll keep up with what I had done around the same time last year and request my character Bartholomew taking Dani out on another date. I figure maybe this time around, it's a movie date and Dani, being the playful sort is offering Bartholomew some suspiciously positioned popcorn on her lap, with him reaching into it bashfully.

While it's quite heterodox to ordinary Mephitists, the gods toppled by the Lacktail's armies in the name of Fuma are believed to have been taken over by Her, becoming Her Holy Consorts. Many Elves in the South Country venerate the Consorts, while still worshiping Fuma. My Doodle this month is Fuma with one of her Consorts, Tilki (a fox). Tilki's a great trickster, and quite irrepressible; in the drawing She's sitting on his back with an indulgent smile on Her face, while he's looking up and back at her with a cheeky grin.

Did you know that Herr Doktor Scheisskampf has an assistant? Well, he does! Jane has been assigned to (inflicted upon?) the eminent archaeologist by his department head, possibly as an act of vengeance. Jane is rather clumsy (owing to a serious imbalance between chest size and brain size, not countered by long, fluffy headfur), has extraordinary notions regarding artifacts (like cleaning pottery shards in the dishwasher or ancient textiles in the washing machine), and is prone to floods of tears, especially when she gets fired (again) by her "Chubbikins," whom she worships unreservedly. On the other paw, it's not to be denied that with her very tight khaki shirt and short khaki skirt, and floofy apricot brush, she's easy on the eyes. She also makes insanely great apple pies (with cuneiform mottoes baked into the crust). Lastly, she has an inexplicable, uncanny talent for finding the most extraordinary artifacts, seemingly without effort. Case in point: the "golden doohickey" (her term) she has just discovered, covered in Elvish runes and priceless gems. She's just given it to her astounded superior. Which might be bad timing. The previous owner would like a word on the subject. We may be about to test one of Jane's theories, that no undead figure from thousands of years past can resist apple pie!
