Not a new one, because they stopped making this model (the C3) in 1968 I believe. There are about a million of them out there; it was the best selling and longest-continuously-produced 35mm camera in history (not counting the Soviet Smena which went through about 8 design revisions from the 1950s through the 1980s). I could get another on Ebay .. but they're all getting older, and the one I had worked perfectly. Also the price has gotten inflated because one of the characters used this camera in the Harry Potter movies, so it changed from a Photographic Antique to a Hip Collectible.

Wow! I think that is really cool that the song could inspire a bitter sweet kind of interpretation. I don't suppose there would be a way to get a new Argus camera someday?
I used to have one (no, actually TWO) of these cameras. Sometimes I regret selling them. I could not stop thinking of it every time I listened to the song, especially because the lyrics never just say "Argus" but always "THE Argus" which suggests an object rather than a person.
