Havelock "Whitey" Greensward

"Thrower" seemed obvious at the start, but it wasn't fancy enough. "We do not simply throw," the pros objected. And so, out of respect for their ballistic art, they have been called variously "pitchers," "bowlers," "hurlers," and "flingers." Call one a "tosser" however, and you may be in for a fight.

Thanks! I now know what to say to Burnside next time i see her. (which i hope is: never) "If you want to have some fun go over there and call them «a bunch of tossers»"
Except for the word "blern" everything you just said was complete nonsense.
