Resident Evil - Western Difficulty Mod
🕑 Added 2021-10-25 13:50:36 +0000 UTCThis mod restores the original western difficulty to Resident Evil, which was removed in the PC release. The game will now play like the original Sony Playstation versions of the game which were released in the western territories such as America and Europe.
These versions of the game did not have an auto-aim system and also had changes made to the damage values of enemies and weapons. They also require Jill Valentine to find Ink Ribbons to save your progress, just like when playing as Chris Redfield.
This game mod requires an existing installation of Resident Evil, as well as the 'Classic Rebirth' patch, in order to play. Simply extract the 'Resident Evil (Western Difficulty).exe' file into your Resident Evil game folder and run it. When the 'Mod Selection' menu appears, click on the drop down menu and select 'Resident Evil (Western Difficulty)' and then click the 'OK' button. The game will then launch.
