hey i'm just letting you know that this mod is giving me problems it's saying that it needs to be updated and i got the new version that you just released november 3rd i believe and i know its this one bc my other mods is working fine and this one is just giving me problems it's giving me errors hopefully you could really give us a hot fix and fix this bug i believe also all my mods i have is updated and some reason it's not giving me problems but it's just this one also another mod it's not yours but it's called the UI cheat mod that one is giving me problems too i have to delete both

Ok. I recommend doing that then. I'm not a support admin on the server. I'm not an admin at all there. I am just one of many creators that are supported by the support team there. The server owner has a tumblr and posts about how to appeal a ban from the server, which includes the admin list, so I recommend checking out the link to that on my website in the FAQ: https://deaderpool-mccc.com/faq.html#gq4

For support with Discord, I recommend you google your issue to see what others with similar issues have done. We don't support the Discord product...we just use the tool like many others. Most issues that people have, at this point, someone else has had as well so you just have to see what the fix is.

Yes. The compatibility notes state that it works with all expansions, but doesn't require any of them. All it requires is the correct version of the Sims 4.

For support, you should go to one of the support Discord channels I have on the release post. That also includes if you think there's an issue with the mod. There are steps to reporting an issue before I will even look at them, as a lot of times it is not something from MCCC itself causing the issue. The support team will determine that and, if it is a MCCC issue, I will then be brought into the loop to gather the information I need to fix it.

I'll look at your website. By the way, the new save doesn't have this problem. And I noticed that if you use the movement between areas via the Sim Nation mod, then everything is fine with the NPC Sims. They all work.

We can't do support here. It's not just that we choose not to. There are details on my website in the FAQ: https://deaderpool-mccc.com/faq.html#gq2 If you can't go to Discord because your country is blocking you, then you'll either have to figure out the issue yourself using documents that talk about that (my website has a troubleshooting document that goes through the steps to figure out your own issue). There are also probably many other such resources available (on my website in the help menu, there is also a link to another website with TS4 help). My mod is not the cause of your issues so removing my mod won't help you, anyway. If you are using the right version of MCCC with the right version of TS4 and you have it installed and configured correctly, you will get no errors from it. Your cause is something else. There are a lot of walkthroughs out there on how to find bad mods/cc including a link on my troubleshooting page.

The game version is the latest at the moment. There are all the add-ons and so on. The version of your mod is also the latest. I tried to restore the game, it did not help. Then I went back to the settings of your mod and replaced them with the standard 20 NPC Sims. This did not solve the problem either. Some of the Sims do something, and half of the Sims just stand on the street and do nothing. Sometimes it helps to partially restore an object, like someone comes to life after this manipulation, and someone still stands on the street and does nothing. I have not tried deleting your mod. He is dear to me.

Hello dear modder. They helped me fix it in the discord support! I had in in mods and then in a seperate map, I had to put the mod directly into the mods map.

Otherwise, as long as you've read the rules and validation instructions on the #server_info as detailed when you first join the server, I can't really give you much more direction on "where to post questions". You are correct, I don't do anything with other devs mods. The support team does. That's another reason I point people to the support server.

Hii! Thank you for your reply! I joined the discord server but am confused where to ask for help? Ive already tried to launch the game with just your mod to see if my other mods, broke yours but this is not the case. Also the UI cheat mod doesnt work, I know that this isnt your mod but maybe this information helps resolving my problem?

Thanks, but often the cause can be many combinations of broken mods/cc...Basemental being out-of-date could be one for one person but someone else may have the same symptoms from something else altogether. That's why I usually just recommend going to support. There are a large variety of things that could cause issues people see and are often different for different people and, until someone can view the error logs the person is getting (or if they do 50/50 themselves like you did), it's not usually easy to just guess the cause. Appreciate you trying to help, though. :)

After doing the 50/50 method removing the basemental mod made Mc Command appear in my game again. This worked for me. I just thought I'd share. Hope it helps.

Nope. If that was the case, I'd have heard about it on the Discord server but there are thousands that are now, and have been, using it. No issues. If you're having issues, you should go to one of the support Discord channels I provide in each release post to try to get help with your issues. It's not a problem with the mod not working.

I might understand. This is usually why I prefer people go to the support Discord channels, though. Easier to get even screenshots and such so any questions about whether or not I am even understanding the requests can be easily answered. :) I mean, there's two different types of tray replacement. There's copy/paste using tray Sims and there's "replace randomly generated Sims in the game with tray Sims". The second is what I was describing earlier where there are not many of those that are multiple. Copy/pasting over existing Sims is quite a bit different. In those cases, MCCC doesn't do anything with the household names at all. Whatever it was before the copy/pasting happened would be what it would be after. Now, MC Cleaner can be set to sync household names, which is maybe what you're asking for a feature to do? That would set the household name to the first adult Sim in the household when it runs.

I think I didn't explain properly, I'm talking about when you set the tray import setting to import sims from your library, most people will store households of 8 sims to use as townies, MCC will grab one of the 8 sims and assign it the name the household has in the library, this will happen multiple times with MCC using all 8 sims from a household like it's meant to and then you end up with 8 households with the same name in your game. We cant change the name of households from other creators we save from the library, how I think it would work best is if it grabs a sim that is part of a household in our library the household name should be the last name of the sim it grabbed, like the game does for townies it randomly creates. for households with multiple sims it should use the last name of the first sim. I hope I am explaining this better.

I can write it down to look at it, at some point. It doesn't make sense, in most cases, to bother doing that, though. The households being generated randomly are, 99% of the time, single household Sims so there is no existing household default name to use. It's a randomly generated household + Sim. I can do something for the very small percentage when a whole household is being generated, but like I said, doesn't happen often. EA generates random Sims to fill specific roles in the world (walkby situations, pizza delivery people, bartenders, etc.) All of those roles only need a single Sim so that's what the household will contain. The main time more than one Sim is generated is usually if a family is needed when a new game is started, and the "populate empty houses" neighborhood story progression gets triggered. It generates a family of 4 Sims usually. I don't even know that the filters for adoption when you pull a list of Sims on the computer generate whole families...I think it may just be single Sim hidden households in it. Anyway, this is why I didn't already concern myself with logic like what you're talking about. It's a bit of work for something that should rarely happen. Thanks!

The setting files are not what causes the message that they're not the latest version. config files are not checked for that message, only the actual ts4script files. So if it says they're not the same version, then that's the error...it's a very specific issue. If you need help trying to figure out why you don't have the right version of those installed or why the game is not loading them, then you should go to Discord and ask for help in one of the channels there. hey I know you don't troubleshoot in here but just a quick question. My game says my tuner and dresser aren't on the latest version of mccc but on your website it says if we're updating to keep the tuner, dresser, and settings and it'll update automatically. Should I just delete the dresser and tuner and use the newer one w 6.0?

Hi, I'm wondering why this was causing an exception... I had the option for allowing children to help out with younger Sims enabled, my child Sim was able to pick up his toddler sister, and I even tested this in a new save and a child was able to pick up an infant as well. This was working fine for about 2 days, and then today it was giving me the Error 123 message, and the last exception pointed toward that specific interaction. I removed MCCC and did a fresh install of the mod and had to re-place the lot because it had bugged it for some reason, and now my game works fine. I really do love the idea of younger Sims being able to help with their younger siblings cause it's realistic. I'm just sad I had to turn it off because it was causing an error code. That aside, I really appreciate all you do with this mod. It's an absolute game changer and I couldn't play without it. Thank you for your time!

I don't have anything planned to do anything around that right now. Honestly, changing rates like that are usually a lot easier through a tuning mod than they are for me in a scripting mod, because I have to create settings, UI dialog to save the settings, and then the code to modify the classes to apply rate changes. And sometimes, that doesn't work right from script right-off and I have to do the research and time invested to figure out why. It's something I've done in the past, and I may do it again, but I don't have any plans at this time. If I were you, I'd see if there were already a tuning mod out there for the same. I'd be surprised if there wasn't. If there isn't, it may be something you can request on the support Discord server. We have a channel there for requesting mods.

All my commands and settings can be found in the search menu on my website. It includes descriptions of the commands and settings as well as how to get to them from the in-game UI. I've not moved any commands around. When I do, I list it in the change log so people know. I will also always update it on the website.

is there anyone who has the same error as I do? I updated both the game and MCCC to 109, but my sims still cannot woohoo with teen, something called relationship.py file is showing up, I wonder if is the EA's bug?

I found the answer on reddit Sex Settings -> Sex Interactions Settings -> Sex Outfit Settings -> Auto Dress Up After Sex (fully check it for always dress up)
