You should go to one of the support Discord channel links I provide in the release post. If this is a known EA issue, someone on the support team may have information. Or, they might have heard about a similar issue from another user. I don't keep-up with all of the known bugs in the game, really...just the ones I have seen personally.

When I log into the game through the EA App, the animation for sims 4 displays and when it goes to the welcome screen, it turns completely black.

That would be an installation/configuration type issue. You can look through the troubleshooting and installation instructions on my website (linked in the post), or if you need support, you should go to one of the support Discord channel links provided in the post. We don't do any support here.

When i load in it gives me an error that the MC-Dresser is not located, looked in the mods folder and its there but does not show up in game.

When I load the sims 4, MCCC does not show up. I think this is related to the recent updates between yesterday and today (3/17-3/18). Thoughts, advice?

Ok, first I'm going to admit that I am embarrassed to say that I cannot figure Discord out. Never have been able to , I try and try but I can't ever get anything to post. So, anyway, I just want to ask if anyone else was affected by today's update? My problem was Mccc wouldn't work on any of my saves after the update. I uninstalled it and reinstalled and now it will work on any new save but still not any previous ones. Anyone else having this problem?

I can't load my game with MC cleaner in my mods folder for some reason but once I remove it my game loads fine. I have updated, repaired, and cleared all things that needs to be and it still wont load it but once I remove MC cleaner im fine

CAS can't be modified by script modders like myself. It can be changed in small ways by UI modders using flash mods, but it is very limited (things like changing icons or increasing columns). CAS is in C++ and Flash and is otherwise not moddable. The reason we have the limit on 104 is because that's the maximum number that EA will show on the screen. If we increase it more, you would not be able to see or select additional Sim, if it worked at all. Chances are, it would just corrupt your save file instead. Thanks for your thanks!

Yeah, MCCC works fine with it after today's update. No issues and all my release posts have been udpated to say the same.

As always ive had no problems with MCCC after this update....but UI Cheats mod was causing a black stuck loading screen . Hope this helps someone :)

Just wanted to say thank you for your work on MCCC. Its the only thing keeping the Sims 4 playable for me.

The "enable script mod blablabla" got disabled with the update 3somehow. My bad! All works fine

Sadly doesn't work for me at all. Removed all other mods and cc, cleared cache, removed and re-added.. nothing. completely invisible in game. Most likely an EA issue. (using mac, might be a factor). Anyway, thank you for what you do <3

MCCC is working, yes, but in some player's games, the Sims 4 is not loading all of their mods so if a player's game doesn't load MCCC then it won't work for them.

I don't know what is causing the game to load some mods but not others. MCCC loaded fine for me and all of my tests I run after each update ran fine, as well, other than the one for the notification that I posted the update about. Hopefully, they'll get it fixed soon so we can tell what are really issues and what are problems with the update!

I've noticed as well, oddly enough some CC works while others doesn't O_o. Have any changes broken MCCC?

Just as a warning. Apparently something is pretty broken. Lots of people have lots of mods that aren't loading. I had a problem with some add-ons I bought for the Sims 4 not loading right either! :-|

Yes. The core game code is the same regardless of the add-ons that people have purchased. Only the tuning files (objects/situations/interactions and such) are different. MCCC works on hte core game code, so it doesn't matter what add-ons people are using. The changes EA did the the family tree and family relationships for R&L is included in the base game now regardless of whether people have bought R&L or not.

It will only show-up if it's valid for the Sim. Like they have a career that has ranks, things like that. I don't take bug reports here, as they have to go through the support analysis before I take the reports. So if you continue to have issues or questions, that's where you should go next. Thanks!

Thank you! I was trying to assign a brand new sim a career but the Career section wasn't showing up in game. I got out of the game to make sure that I had that script installed correctly (I did) and then saw you had an update. I'm going to go back in game and see if it shows up. Fingers crossed that it's just a me error and nothing more. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks! Tumblr is continously changing the links to my log, for some reason. They've done it three times today. Each time I set post links to it, they change it again. I've updated it again on the post. We'll see how long it lasts this time!
