Miyu definitely wavered a bit there. That's a big thing with her is she actually has trouble believing/having faith. Hence why she still can't fly. With what you know about Miyu it does make sense. She was homeless and has or had a brother but is nowhere around. So makes sense that she'd be a little cynical.

If you remember Miyu said a few episodes back that she's never been to the beach before, which is why she had that reaction when she saw the ocean. As for Kuro, at this point I thought she was alright. But still like Illya and Miyu more. But I do think her reaction was understandable given the circumstances.
