Holiday updates, housekeeping, etc.
🕑 Added 2015-12-04 21:37:37 +0000 UTC Hey everybody. we wanted to let you all know that next week, we're all gonna be heading home to spend the holidays with our families, so we may go dark until the new year. Before that, we here and SWE wanted to thank you all again for all the love and support you've given us this year. We had no idea whether we could make this Patreon thing work, but thanks to fans like you, one of us is able to work on the show full time, and the other able to make some extra cash, while still working a job he loves. Thank you all so much :)We also wanted to give you guys some other updates:
We're still recording lines for episode 9, and we're hoping to have them all done before we leave. We've been trying to keep the production cycle to around 3 months so far, but with everyone taking off for the month, it looks like episode 9 will take a little bit longer than usual. Other than that, production has been going quite smoothly, and we hope you enjoy it when it's done :)
Lastly, we wanted to give you guys a heads up that we're going to be doing a quick purge of all the patrons that were "declined" this month in order to bring the total displayed on our page closer to what we actually make. It's about $500 or so difference, so we just want to clean up the records a bit. We're not totally sure how accurate the records are, since we've never done this before, so we're sorry in advance if you get kicked off the page for no reason. This won't interrupt any of the rewards if you re-subscribe, and with the $50 pledges specifically, it's easy for us to check the pledges that have gone through in past months, so none of you be left out of the credits in the next episode. Again, sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you guys.

You guys certainly deserve the time off! Kirito and Asuna's lovers quarrel can't be properly fleshed out unless you two get properly rested! And don't worry about the extended wait! A good rump roast needs time to cook in the over and absorb all those tenderizing juices, with lots of seasoning, and baked potatoes smothered in bacon bits and butter and......wait, where was I going with that? ooooh, ok. because a weird thing happened with a charge Patreon did for last month, which included my payment for you guys, among others I'm supporting, but I haven't gotten an email about it yet, so I was worried I might suddenly get kicked. if I do, I'll just repledge.

At the beginning of the month, Patreon starts collecting the money people have pledged. If they successfully collect the money, the patron's account says "Processed", but if there's a problem, like if the patron's credit card info is wrong, it'll say "Declined". Patreon supposedly sends the patron an email to notify them about this to see if they can correct the problem, and Patreon will keep trying to take out the payment every few days until it succeeds. There are a lot of accounts that have been declined for several months, though, and even if it's declined, the amount they pledge is still added to the total on our front page. We just need to clean it up a bit and make that number more accurate again. We won't do it for a few days, though, to make sure everyone knows what's going on.

I think they mean people who used to support them. But don't anymore. But the system still shows them as supporting even if they are not.
