Even if you dont host your videos on it I think having a site would help you guys and even sell merch on there, loved your guys shirts at AX if you decide to make any of them posters a website would be a good way to show them off and junk (shamelessly trying to get real client work under my belt dont hate me T>T)

I just thought of something, but what about newgrounds? I mean they seem to care about thei community pretty well. Though the question is would they be cool with this content, since they are mainly for indie animators, illustrators, and game devs. Though it's worth a shot.

I was coming here to say the same thing. They have <a href="https://www.floatplane.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.floatplane.com/</a> which was built for "creators" which would arguably include something like this. They built their own video streaming and comment server for there 6+ MILLION subscirbers

Could check out Floatplane who LTT (Linus Tech Tips) are in the process of building. They are running there own content a week ahead of YouTube but there goal is to expand out to get those effected by how garbage YouTube has been in the past few years

Yeah...gonna have to agree with four star on this one. While a website advertising your group wouldn't be a terrible idea trying to run your own hosting just isn't going to work. For the amount the group could likely afford the bandwidth requirements would likely out strip it. To avoid the dreaded shut downs you'd likely need to run your own hardware and a dedicated line. Just not feasible. But regardless of hosting situations might make sense to consider a website. Might give you a stronger internet presence and more donations long term.

Guys, just get bought by Rooster Teeth, that's what everyone else is doing, then you can host it on their site. (I'm half kidding, it might genuinely be something to look in to).
