Yo what it do, my good good bois?!
Izzy's been blazing through editing on SAOA 14, and except for one shot that needs to be rotoscoped, it looks like the hardest stuff is finished! Just some fairly straightforward sound effects, the music, and a little bit of lip-flappin'. On that note, Izzy's been a big boi and torn his very soul asunder. In the interest of getting these things out faster for all you patient bitches, Izzy has decided to pass the rest of the lip-flaps off to that gutter slag, Carrie. His poor, precious baby shall be sullied by her clammy, syphilis-riddled hands! She doesn't even know when his nap time is! He can't have candy after 6 PM or he's gonna be up all night, goddamn it!
So yeah. he has every confidence she'll do a great job...

We also just wrapped up our open auditions for MHAA! Thank you all for the nearly 700 SUBMISSIONS that we spent 3 SOLID DAYS going through! We got a lot of great takes on these characters, and we're super excited to move forward with callbacks and such! But don't be disheartened if we don't message you back. We're keeping all of you on file for any characters you might fit in the future. Also, we've been asked about this a lot recently, but we won't be putting out any sort of announcement about who got what parts. This is mainly because there are so many factors that might disqualify someone that we won't know about from just their audition. Stuff like not having access to the same recording set-up they auditioned with, scheduling conflicts, they're an asshole, or they can't take direction. Stuff like that. It'll just be an awesome surprise when the episode comes out!
Finally, a bunch of us (including, but not limited to CoffinJockey, BuddyVA, BlazingAzureCrow, FrozenFrost, etc.) are going to be at Anime Revolution this weekend in horrendously sunny Vancouver! Seriously, it's too fucking hot and there's no AC in the house! We fucking hate it! But assuming we haven't offed ourselves just to slip into the sweet and chilly embrace of the reaper, you should come hang out! We don't have a panel or anything; we're just enjoying the con. Feel free to come hug us. But, like, identify yourself first, or our years of kung fu training are liable to kick in. Especially Izzy. He's a biter.

I have gone through probably too much effort to send this message. i'm in highschool and i remember the first time i watched SAO abridged. i'd never watched anime but i thought it was not only the funniest, but the most well put together series on youtube. i remember being so inspired to try my best and "join" your team of creators. (i thought you guys were a whole studio rather than some people having fun). regardless, the inspiration to draw and animate led me to something else, 3d design. and while i'm really not great at drawing, 3d design has become a legitimate career path for me, as i found i have an unexpected skill for it. i may have been naive to want to be apart of what you guys do, but i really think you all have something great going on and i want you to know that your youtube channel was a dream of mine for a long time, and even if i have to just wait for ep 14, 15, 16, etc. (very excited for SAOA) i'll do it happily because i know you all are a hilarious, great group of people. i hope you know that if i could, i would be donating on your patreon. i would've loved for this to be an email or direct message, but your twitter dm's are closed. i know this is long, and you guys have work to do, i hope one of you see it. waiting for your new episode, keep up the great work.
