Hey, have you guys seen Barbenheimer?
Not sure it needed to be 5 hours long, or that we should've seen it at 3 in the morning, or that we needed to get completely shitfaced on Malibu brand canned pina coladas while doing so, but MAN what a ride!
It was some pretty heady stuff, but we think we caught most of it. Like how Leslie Grove recruited Quantum Physics Barbie in 1942 to create the atomic bomb in order to defeat the patriarchy. Still not sure how Ken fucking Florence Pugh while reading Sanscrit battle hymns factored into that, but maybe it'll make more sense on a rewatch.
As for SWE business, we've been slamming our heads against a wall! We've gotten to a... particular scene... that is proving most challenging to make funny. If you've seen the original, you probably know which one... We think we've got something now, but holy shit, we had actual headaches from watching that scene over and over and over trying in vain to think of ANYTHING to write. Frankly, it's a miracle we made it through with our sanity intact.
So another thing about Barbenheimer. Why was Will Farrell such a dick to Barbie? She and Einstein weren't even talking about him! But he had to go badmouthing her to all the Kens and their horses, trying to get her security clearance revoked! She needs that! Thank god Freddie Mercury showed up and went to bat for her, leading to her becoming a founding member of Queen.
On the MHAA side of things, visual editing of MHAA should be starting soon. Still got a few recordings to go through and organize, but things are looking good!
Just like how things were looking good for Lucky Number Slevin when he figured out how to split the atom exclusively so that he could impress Barbie. In the end, we think we came away having learned some valuable lessons. Like never trust Will Farrell (even when he shapeshifts into Iron Man), the patriarchy has shockingly little to do with horses, and we all need to start being a lot kinder to each other, otherwise, the Kens will destroy us all as we are bathed in nuclear fire. They won't mean to, but it's pretty much inevitable.

Wait, is that how Barbienheimer went? Anyway... Yeah, FUCK that scene! While I do trust you'll make it work, I wouldn't blame you if you end up having to reanimate/omit it for the sake of integrity.
