I was never one for interpretive dance before.. but I think I see what's happening here? Your character is a survivor of emotional trauma. Leighann's character is her partner. This piece is the struggle they are having, with Leighann attempting to support your character in dealing with these emotions. There are some examples of disengagement, and some of conflict, and some of support. Does this sound about right?
