Potential changes to the Hunter (10-dollar) tier - Hunter only voting

I am gonna be honest; coming up with a meaningful side story that doesn't just feel like meaningless filler or potentially negatively affects future parts of the story is damn hard, especially with one being produced every week.
The time it takes to write a side story is also often the same, if not more than the time it takes to write a normal chapter. Some side stories taking quite a bit more due to how much longer they sometimes end up being. There is also the huge issue with how some side stories are just too relevant to the main story, and honestly should be open to everyone... but opening them to everyone would devalue the tier.
So, I have considered maybe changing so instead of a side story every week; we just change it to 1-2 extra normal chapters every week. Making the Hunter tier effectively award more chapters than the 5-dollar tier, growing every week. Likely till it reaches a number I feel is right (50 chapters total most likely). Side stories will still be a thing but will be less consistent and also a bit more liberal with who can read them.
For the 3 and 5-dollar Patrons, this will mean not result in any fewer advance-chapters, but only potentially also unlocking side stories.

Might be a bit late but in my opinion the side stories should be accessible to everyone who has joined. The side stories are great and add some worldbuilding but some are just fun. Like the goodest boi stories show what happened in the time of the tutorial from the perspective of the animals. I dont mind not getting *extra* for the 10$ pledge. I feel like I'm getting enough value for what I signed up for. Also the fact that you try to stop people from pledging towards the end of the month shows that you aren't doing this solely for the money. Which is a very good sign and one of the reasons that I am happy to sign up. Hugs n love and hope everything is going well for you. ❤

Pretty much this. I have ideas for side stories but they won't truly fit in before later in the main story.

I think, if there's a truly meaningful side story idea, that adds to the world, you'll be able to tell and it will be easier to write. I liked the side stories focused on other tutorials, since they provide totally new viewpoints and a lot of world-building. I enjoyed the Hawkie-focused side story this week, but it didn't really add anything to the world. We already knew all the characters and there wasn't anything there we couldn't have pieced together from the main story and the other side chapters.
