I dont see any instance where Jake doesnt notice Sylphie aproaching. Even when is concetrating super hard at conconting poison his Sphere is always active. He cant turn it off.

Exhume-> exude

Now Jake should try to make an antidote to the potent necrotic poison. What if one of Jake's friends (I'm looking at you, Sylphie) were to accidentally come into contact with the poison. I'm actually surprised Sylphie did not try to sneak in to see what he was doing. If Jake was concentrating on his brewing he might not have seen her coming. When Jake gets his profession to level 110, I hope he upgrades his Wings skill next. His flying could use an upgrade. I'd like to see him be as fast and agile in the air as the hawks. Although I guess the Pride skill would be the safer choice. You never know when you might need stronger mental resistance.

Who? And why are they not going to be on earth?

Lol it’s just sad he’s soooooo short sighted about things like that. I mean maybe indicate somewhere him thinking he won’t be on earth much longer

I just added as you said, but seriously I don't get why it was wrong. I add stats in my spreadsheet the second he gets levels in a chapter. The only thing that I think was really wrong was 1 banana missing, but I changed it anyway.

I think there are two errors in the chart given in this chapter. First is that somehow 3 points of bananas got lost. Instead of a total of +51 into agility (12+39=51), it seems this chapter only counted +48 into agility. Second error is that 35 free points went into perception instead of agility. In chapter 213 it said Jake put all his free points into agility, but that should have been 70 (chapter 205) + 35 (chapter 208) + 10 (chapter 209) + 35 (chapter 210) + 35 (chapter 211) + 95 (chapter 212) for a total of 280 free points into agility, but the chart in this chapter only puts 245 free points into agility. Between the chart in chapter 205 and the chart in this chapter 230, agility should have gained 237 points from class, race, and profession levels, 280 points from free points, and 51 points from bananas, for a total increase of 568, which is increased by 45% to 823.6. When added to agility 1552 from chapter 205, the agility should be 1552+823.6 = 2375.6 in this chapter. But it is shown as 2320 in this chapter. Likewise for perception, it should have gained 357 points from leveling and 105 free points for a total increase of 462, which is increased by 65% to 762.3 which is added to 3140 from chapter 205 to get 3140 + 762.3 = 3902.3 except this chapter shows 3960 for perception. Summary: Agility missing 3 points from bananas and missing 35 points of free points so it should be agility 2375.6 (not 2320). Perception has too many free points by 35 points so it should be perception 3902.3 (not 3960).

It was right all along. I swear.

This Chapter Contain Alchemy -> 'This Chapter Contains Alchemy'

The consumption points cap increases by 15 points for every D-grade race level, correct? Since his race is now 111 (from 108), his cap has gone up by 45 points in the past month, while he has only consumed 39 points. So his consumption is not quite keeping up with his cap.

Thanks!

I don't even know what the snowflake method is. I just began writing stuff. My planning mainly revolves around "awesome moment I want to happen and is building up to" more than anything else. Setting and theme? Meh, hunter in a forest, makes sense. Theme? Dude hunting. Motivation? He wants to hunt. Besides that, most just come up on the fly with what I think is interesting. I did put a lot of thought and planning into the entire LitRPG and magic system in general, and that is a lot more set in stone and rule-heavy than anything else. The entire novel started while I was playing Skyrim, and I thought "Hm, what if the MC in the LitRPG used a bow?" And here we are. So, I would consider what kind of story you want to write before you consider anything advanced. What you think would be fun to write.

TFTC! Hey Zogarth, what tools did you use when you were first starting this novel? Like, did you use the snowflake method, the 3 act structure, etc? Also, what questions did you answer first before you started writing? (e.g., what is the setting/theme, what are your main character's motivation/goals, what are the limits of the power system, etc.) I'm planning on writing a VRMMO novel, and I'm kinda lost on the conception stage.

The bananas he ate were tasty, perception is forever the best stat.

Michael

"Anyway, bananas were tasty, perception is the best stat" Isn't 'is' tense shifting? The first clause is past tense (bananas WERE tasty), but the second clause is present tense (perception IS the best stat)? Shouldn't it be: 'perception WAS the best stat'? I might be wrong, but I've been reading a first person present tense novel recently and they use 'is' a lot

My god without that chapter title I would have been so very lost. Thank heavens.

Michael

"As for skills, not much had changed there besides a few upgrades here and there." Remove the first there. Not much had changed besides a few upgrades here and there.

Michael
