Leeland

I really hope he starts teaching Sylpie some things. With his new skill, the result could be impressive :)

Kain

I already know which fluffy little shit is gonna be jakes first student Can’t wait

Fortunis

Bout to be a super dead boss bird. Nobody puts Sylphie in a corner.

BeatleNerd

Jake never got his profession skill for his level 110 advancement. Could he no longer choose because he. waited too long? Edit: Nevermind, I didn't realize the skills only came every 20 levels now. I thought he got a skill at 110 for his class, but looking back, he didn't.

At some point he will sacrifice a planet.... a mushroom planet.

Your theory only holds water to a point. Namely, Jake is only safe as long as his universe is closed. After that, Villy can just appear anywhere and kill him with a thought. Now, we don't know the criteria for the universe being opened, but we do know that the things on his planet are at least somewhat comparable to humans in strength, with things like the king of the forest on the upper end. My point is that there's nothign on the new earth that can get him even to B grade, let alone able to face villy. Now, he might be able to go to other planets, but if they have native inhabitants who's to say that the situation isn't the same? I do not think he could get enough power to survive a hostile encounter with villy within his universe, and if he becomes hostile outside of it he's dead. Villy is the type to take things personally.

Teaching can be many things. Even though the skill talks about his heretical path that doesn't necessarily need to be what he teaches. Honestly though I could totally see Jake unknowingly creating a schism in the Order of the Malefic Viper. Having his own group that competes with the "traditional" order. If I'm being honest using me super duper fiction foresight abilities, I do see Jake eventually becoming at odds with Villy. Which story wise makes sense even if the reasoning hasnt happened yet. Jake is Villy's successor/peer not his heir/servant. It makes sense that story wise that he will eventually come into his power by fighting his teacher i.e. being a heretic. Anyways my guesses aside, thank you for the chapter!

RedFaux

I hope its the Legacy skill. More interesting than refine core

thomas johnson

Depending on how he teaches, he can indirectly help others. Simply having others watch him could be teaching. He could have a dedicated group of initiates who follow him and observe his whole process of hunting, preparation, ingredient acquisition, finally alchemy.

Void

If anything happens to those hawks. I believe it will be safe to assume we will see another borderline genocide. Along with a large section of the forest rendered uninhabitable for many years to follow.

Henrik Nørgaard

Yup, i'm looking forward what will Come of it. Maybe Jake will find someone to teach when he goes to villy's alchemy school.

Balsamic ThunderThighs

Not bad that he got a teaching skill since the Sword Saint's granddaughter is going to come eventually and possibly the Mercenary Maria girl who made the flaming bow gift.

BenjiVoid

Yea, especially affordable ones. He always makes the best he can, eventually no one will be able to afford those except for the best (who might also be his direct competition). They needs lower level alchemists to make lower level potions for the masses. I mentioned a couple other uses above but also just thought of another, he could use it to train the birds. Not necessarily as alchemists but a bit of stuff related to the viper, poison resistance or something like that...

Zogarth

Fixed

Some quick edits: offering pointers to that hopeless E and – god help us all – F-grades. -> to those(?)

I gotta say, I'm glad he took the teaching skill. At the moment, Jake is punching way above his weight class, so the cores he's getting are fantastic as well. He doesn't really need to improve them, unless the goal is for his alchemy to be carried by the rarity of the reagents. On the other hand, haven needs someone to make health, stamina, and mana potions for them. I suspect that elixirs would also not be undervalued. Since he plain out stated that he sucks at teaching, and since his race complements the buff, the teaching skill was a better choice.

Sammot

Maybe he can get another key fragment of prima from the alpha bird.

izaak

He definatly didn't get the teaching skill. And time for our little hawk to find out how strong her uncle is next chapter most likely.

BlackRazaras

Thanks for the chapter

Gunnar Crider

Couldn't Jake choose both?

BenjiVoid

Teaching his alchemy would lead to an even more unique (in all universes) and elite Haven... And teaching a gardener would be very useful.

Tomer Yud

probably a good test for his pride skill :P

Zogarth

Fixed.

James Squibb

Jake intervention to overturn the Sylphie POV of her uncle not being that strong lol. Jake just comes in and freezes everything in a radius and doles out the punishment.

Jonathan

Avaricious Hunter, where he had a super-valuable skill he could upgrade. One, he had no idea how to upgrade by himself. Avaricious Hunter, where he had a super-valuable skill he could upgrade, one he had no idea how to upgrade by himself. and concoct poison even gooder. I'm assuming 'gooder' was used as emphasis and humor by Jake.

ADOLFO VILLEGAS

I feel that it would most likely be records.

Arrogant Savant

damn sylphie

BrokenMortal

Jake to the rescue? Hope none of the hawk family dies.

Michael

Ah, the cliff. It hurts so bad. I wonder what rewards Jake will get for his students becoming good and even gooder. I can already kind of scratch off stats, so maybe records? Experience? I feel like getting stats for helping students would be too OP.

Zogarth

Fixed. The good and gooder is 100% on purpose.

dragonslaver

I'm on the mobile app so excuse me not copying stuff but I found three mistakes. 1. The one dying at the end should be the eagle instead of a hawk right? 2. In the skill description for teachings of the heretical there is a "and" smack dab in the middle between endorsed and heretical knowledge. And last you use "gooder" two paragraphs after the teaching skill description. Now this one could be style I guess but the correct thing is better.
