purely my own opinion but i dont think serial killers marry and have families for love, its almost more of a front or a mask to look “normal” in society. people with serious mental health disorders mask in all sorts of ways, obviously its going to differ from person to person and and maybe he did love her and thats why he took his own life after he realized what he had done but i feel like it was more so the fear of finally being caught because that is such a direct tie to him as opposed to a woman living on the streets or a child he didn’t know
