Thank you. Yeah, I'm the calm brother under the pressure and all that and then the anxiety and stress gets me alone. But I started going to therapy a couple months ago to help with the stress of writing and burnout. I got all the news the day after my last session, so I'm waiting until today for my next one. It's been beginning to help, but this has been a blow--especially since we went in thinking it was arthritis.

I know exactly what you are going through. My mom had small cell Stage IV Lung Cancer that we only caught in the late stages due to multiple brain tumors affecting her speech. My dad had Leukemia caught in stage IV again, far far too late. My mom was able to last 18 months after surgery, and only passed due to choosing to stop chemo. The radiation and Chemo are rough to watch your parents go through. Your whole family will need strength and counselling. I recommend you take advantage of professional resources to prepare you to be what your dad and your family need you to be as early as possible. I regret not doing so early enough.
