However, I said there would be a chapter tomorrow, and since that has changed, I’ll open myself up to any questions you might have about the fiction or Pokémon in general. World details, what-ifs, meta questions—I'll do my best to answer what you ask right now, and after, I’ll compile all of it into a post that'll come out once the Type Specialist is over. Anything too revealing will be saved until then (such as questions regarding side characters’ ultimate fates).

Honestly, while I'd like to have included Pokémon like Grimmsnarl and Hatterene, the one Pokémon I'd have really enjoyed would have been Galarian Weezing. Having a Poison Type on the team with Neutralizing Gas would have been fun. There were a lot of strategies I thought of but could never include that made use of that Pokémon alongside Misty Terrain. The new fiction is in Indigo and is in early on in the timeline, so most gimmicks are unlikely given that they tend to be region-based. As for Red, Blue, or Green: maybe. I haven't got far enough in to consider any of their inclusion yet.

Are there any Pokémon you wish you had included in the story? I would have loved to see a hisuian alpha Mr mime or an Iron Valiant. Is it possible to see some paradox Pokémon or new battle mechanics in the new story? Like terastilization or dynamax? You said that this story will take place before the type specialist, so is it possible to see Red, Blue, or Green?

I've thought about it, but I'm not confident in my ability to write a compelling romance. I like to focus on the development of Pokémon and teams, so I doubt romance will play any prominent role.

Have you considered including a romantic relationship in the next fic, or should we expect another story without that for the main character?
