I add two trailers for hauling them, it uses tension belts to strap the boat down.
It has controls to lift the body from the base to adjust for water height and loading on trailer.
Issues:
attacher joint on the boat has a silly error, will fix next update, no game play effect 5.2.20

Whats happening is the wheels and body are separated to allow the raise and lower in the water. Sounds like your driving your wheels under the trailer collision and then smashing them together to lower the boat. Causing the glitch... if you have developer mode on, you can see this issue when the body is lift too high. If not, try lowering the boat till the wheels suck into the body. Then slowly lower then till your able to drive. This will allow the boat collision to lift the wheels enough to get on the trailer and not go underneath Hope that helps
Love the mod itself but I am unable to put the boat on the trailer without it flipping and glitching. When you put the boat on the trailer it no longer rolls and setting the boat down on the trailer makes it flip. I tried it hitched and unhitched to a vehicle.
