The return of polls; VGM Vibes suggestions!
🕑 Added 2024-03-28 13:38:11 +0000 UTCHello there, as some of you may have seen, I started a new series called "VGM Vibes" where I focus on certain themes from games and showcase them. We started with forest themes and the 2nd episode will focus on battle themes (not boss themes)
- Episode 3 will be aquatic themes
The way I will incorporate polls is by making a post similar to this one where I take suggestions on said theme from songs that are - in the list waiting currently -
Comment your suggestions here and I'll put them in a follow up poll post where I'll choose a winner, make a reaction video for it, and then put it in the VGM Vibe episode as well.
You could also make suggestions in the Discord under the channel "vgm vibes"

PS: You're more than welcome to suggest other songs I HAVE heard or from I game I've played, but no promises it'll make it :)

Oh, I must have misunderstood the project. I see an "Super Mario 64 - Dire, Dire Docks" on the waiting list. I recommend it.

Aquatic Mines from Sonic Adventure 2 is a really chill jazzy track that plays in one of knuckles' levels, and either of Hydrocity Zone Act 1 or 2 from Sonic Mania are both very cool and nostalgic-feeling OSTs

Lock Jawβs Saga is a nice spoopy underwater theme from Donkey Kong Country 2; itβs not a long one, but itβs really cool

Sea Breeze from Dragon Quest 11, Dire Dire Docks from Mario 64, & Aquatic Ambience from Donkey Kong Country are definitely perfect for the water themed episode. Torvus Bog and Crashed Frigate Orpheon from the Metroid Prime games are also great aquatic area themes. There's a lot more, but that should be fine for now, haha.

I think "Submarine Suburbs" from Kirby: Planet Robobot is a musical representation of exactly the sounds we hear in deep water. But my personal recommendation is "Silent Seabed" from Kirby: Canvas Curse!

It's not yet in the list because my March request hasn't been added to the list yet, but for when it is: Normal Battle III from Octopath Traveler II (for battle themes of course)

Themes of love, as in romance between NPCs. Conversely, villain themes, themes of sadness/despair/loss. Desert themes. Island themes. Temple/ruins themes.
