I've seen a lot of contention about whether or not visual novels are "games", and depending on how you define it I could see either answer being fair. I actually used to find them uninteresting myself, but at some point I gave one another chance and something just clicked. The main draw for me is the particular way the music and art enhance an already engrossing narrative, assuming they're done well. Some VNs, including the Science Adventure games (of which Robotics;Notes is one) also tend to have some kind of unique element to them that adds a bit more agency than just clicking through text boxes. That being said, I can totally understand why they can seem to some people as just "a game without gameplay", it's just one of those preference things. Anyways, glad you liked the songs, and sorry for the wall of text lol.

Haven’t played many visual novels, but the music is always so good in all of them. I feel like the developers understand that the music is so important for immersion when there’s not a lot happening on screen.
