I thought about Wild Arms at first for this, but the list kept growing and growing and I've featured it a bit in previous episodes. It'll make a return I'm sure :) And ty for Digimon! Super catchy.

Damn. Antis is right--I can't believe we didn't suggest any Wild Arms songs from 2 or 3. Especially 3 since that is the most Western the series gets. I'm also so glad you enjoyed the South Badlands pick! That was the song recommendation that made me want to become a patron. Digimon World 3 has a very catchy soundtrack, so I'll pick out a few more favorites from that game. I also had no idea that The Police's drummer made the soundtrack for Spyro, but that makes sense now as to why the whole soundtrack is so damn groovy.

As much as I love the desert themes in the deserts of Ku in Octopath 2, the Sunlands theme from Octopath 1 is truly a masterpiece. It’s one of the most amazing desert themes I’ve ever heard, and it almost goes hand in hand with Primrose’s theme. They’re two sides of the same coin, and really express the sorrow, isolation, but beauty that both the desert and Primrose herself exemplify.
